Brad Peyton, a Canadian filmmaker born in 1978, is known for directing action-packed movies featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Early in his career, Peyton gained recognition for his short gothic comedy film, “Evelyn: The Cutest Evil Dead Girl” (2002). This success helped him land directing gigs for bigger projects. He went on to direct films like “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” (2012), disaster flick “San Andreas” (2015), and monster mayhem movie “Rampage” (2018), all starring Dwayne Johnson. Peyton has also ventured into television, creating the post-apocalyptic comedy series “Daybreak” for Netflix in 2019. Currently, Peyton has a number of projects in various stages of production, including an upcoming sports car racing themed television series.
