Norah O’Donnell is an American journalist and television personality, born on January 23, 1974, in Washington, D.C. She is best known for her work as a news anchor and correspondent.

Norah O’Donnell has had a prominent career in broadcast journalism. She joined CBS News in 2011 as the Chief White House Correspondent and later became the co-anchor of “CBS This Morning.” In July 2019, she took on a new role as the anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News, making her the third woman in history to solo anchor a weekday network evening newscast.

Before her time at CBS, O’Donnell worked for NBC News, where she covered various high-profile events, including the 2008 presidential election. She has interviewed numerous political figures and conducted exclusive interviews with world leaders.
