Shô Tsukikawa is a Japanese film director, screenwriter, and editor. He was born in Tokyo, Japan on August 5, 1982. He is best known for directing the live-action film adaptation of the popular anime and manga series Yu Yu Hakusho, which is set to be released on Netflix in December 2023.

Tsukikawa began his career in the entertainment industry as a screenwriter. He wrote the screenplay for the 2007 film Konjaku monogatari: The new edition, which is a remake of a classic Japanese folktale. He also wrote the screenplay for the 2012 film Keitai Kanojo+, which is a romantic comedy about a young man who falls in love with a virtual girlfriend.

Tsukikawa made his directorial debut in 2011 with the film Cheerfu11y, which is a coming-of-age story about a group of high school students. He followed up Cheerfu11y with a string of successful films, including I Want to Eat Your Pancreas (2017), My Little Monster (2018), and Let Me Eat Your Pancreas (2017).
