Steven Zaillian, born on January 30, 1953, is an American screenwriter, film director, and producer known for his work on several notable films. He is recognized for writing screenplays that often deal with tragedy and drama. Zaillian’s most notable work is the 1993 screenplay for the film Schindler’s List, for which he won an Academy Award
